The first international meeting of partner entities of the project was held on December, 13th and 14th.
In the presentation was the Territorial Delegate for the Environment of the Regional Government of Andalusia, Mr. Francisco Algar, who, together with the Manager of GDR SUBBÉTICA, Mr. Francisco Mérida Espejo, welcomed the representatives of the partner organizations of the project: For.es (Italy), University of Bucharest (Romania), Novorhad-Nógrád Geopark (Hungary), Adesper (Asturias) and the Counceling of Environment and Territory Planning of the Junta de Andalucía with the coordination of GDR SUBBÉTICA .
This project is supported by the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE) in the call for 2018 and its objetctive is to establish a professional training system with high qualifications in geotourism at European level, it is the tool for validation and Recognition of two units of competence in geological tourism at European level.
The project will develop innovative products that facilitate the interpretation of the geological heritage and transmit their values to tourists and visitors of European Geoparks, the provision of support services and assistance to visitors and design of geotourist itineraries.
The project started on November, 1st and with this first meeting have been exhibited, among others, the work to be done during the first semester of 2019.
